Grant writing is hard.

Whether applying for some seed money behind a new creative process or trying to fund a full production, so many artists tear their hair out at the thought of navigating the head-spinning ins and outs of a theatre grant application.

That’s where I come in! I can help you make your grant applications more clear, cohesive, and confident with my skills and knowledge as an artist who has won funding on more than a dozen Ontario Arts Council grants, developed a reliable grant writing process, and previously served on an OAC granting jury.

Preliminary Consultations: If you haven’t begun your grant writing process yet, or you’ve started and feel a little lost or stuck, we can meet for an hour via Zoom and I’ll answer any and all questions you have about OAC grants so you can dive in with as much confidence as possible.

Grant Feedback: I will look at all (or select pieces) of your completed OAC grant application, assess it with a juror’s eye, and offer invaluable feedback, notes, suggestions, and tips & tricks that you can use to polish up your application before clicking Submit.

On top of providing you with detailed notes on your application that you can use to make your current and future grants stronger, I will also meet with you via Zoom for a 1-hour session to go over my feedback and give you the chance to ask any burning questions.
